The International Society for Stereology is a nonprofit organization concerned with the exchange and dissemination of information regarding stereology, the science of determining the spatial structure of materials. This science is relevant in many different areas and thus the society's members come from various fields such as mathematics, biomedicine, material science, geology, and many others.
