Workshop at VT

Thanks for making the VT LIKES workshop a success!
We will keep these pages for archive purposes. The third LIKES workshop took place on 10/31/08 and 11/01/08 at Virginia Tech, with a reception for participants on the evening of 10/30/08.

The purpose of this workshop was to gather information from different disciplines regarding their actual and intended applications of computing and information technology. We will have small group sessions in which members from each discipline will brainstorm and share ideas, and then report to the big multidisciplinary group. We looked for opportunities for interaction among disciplines and mutually enriching examples of applied computing.
