Looking into multisite Drupal

I looked into whether we might be better off using a multisite Drupal installation instead of Organic Groups. I personally still think that multisite would probably have been the better way to go, considering what everyone wants the groups to do/be, but it probably won't happen. Attached is my summary of what I found when looked into the options.
